HAINT (2025)

When gentrifiers mysteriously begin to die, a Gullah Geechee handywoman who recently lost her home must decide whether to use her ancestral knowledge to save them or leave the newcomers to their fate.

HAINT was developed in the Tribeca Chanel Through Her Lens program and was produced in Indeed and Hillman Grad’s Rising Voices Season 5. HAINT premiered at the 2025 Tribeca Film Festival and will screen in select theaters this summer before The Fantastic Four: First Steps, Spike Lee’s Highest 2 Lowest, and Darren Aronofsky’s Caught Stealing.
